The Cliffs of Moher -
6/29/06
I went ahead and took a tour bus from Limerick that went to Bunratty (My second
time there), then Ennis, then to the Cliffs of Moher, then to The Burren, and
then back to Ennis.
The bus ride was actually quite nice. I met two women and a boy from Georgia and
we talked most of the trip just about our trips and what we would like to do, it
was such a nice thing to be able to talk to some Americans.
On our way to the cliffs it started to rain hard, and by the time we got there
it was so foggy you couldn't see more than 10ft in front of you. The bus driver
tried to make the situation better by telling us how the weather could change
drastically in just a few minutes, but of course none of us believed him because
the weather was so drastic. When we got up to the cliffs, we were soaking wet
and could not see anything. After being very disappointed, the rain stopped and
the fog started to clear. Within 15 minutes we could see the cliffs perfectly,
It was pretty incredible.
